It was a clear night but my car wouldn’t start. I couldn’t head to where I wanted for these star trails and figured trying one at home would be better than no attempt at all.

420 layered exposures @ f/7.1 | ISO 3200 | 15 sec

The camera was shooting for about 2 hours. the last 15 minutes had to be ignored because the condensation from the temperature drop outside fogged everything up!

It’s about 3.4 degrees outside!

    Love it dude! I think that having the house in shot actually gives it interesting context…and juxtaposes the earthly with the otherworldly 🙂
