I’m not a very good drawer but it’s something that I’ve always enjoyed. I’ve always found it interesting that when we’re young, drawing is such large part of our creative expression.
As we grow up, we seem to loose that creativity and imagination. We start to limit our minds to what we’re taught is possible. I’m only 22 years old and I’ve discovered how much creativity and spontaneity I’ve lost over the last 4 years or so. Working in high level I.T. forced me to mature quickly and drop those ‘childish’ ambitions, thoughts and dreams.
Time to get those creative thoughts flowing again. Growing up shouldn’t be about loosing our youthfulness, creativity and imagination.
So my drawing journey begins. I look forward to humoring you with my drawing adventures! I’ll post a few drawings from my Tasmania trip tomorrow.
Jan 18 2010 update: I can’t find my sketch pad, I think it’s in the other car that I lent to a mate.
Jan 23 2010 update: I have found the sketch pad. It WAS in the other car.
